Pixar Undergraduate Program 2024
Maya / Houdini / Katana / Nuke / USD / RenderMan / Blender
During my summer 2024 PUP internship at Pixar, I received training across various departments of the studio's technical pipeline, including modeling, shading, set dressing, layout, lighting, rigging, and FX. I worked with proprietary Pixar software and industry-standard tools such as Maya, Houdini, Katana, Nuke, and USD.
I contributed to a two-week animated short by animating and developing a facial rigging system in Blender, automating texture switching to streamline the animation workflow and reduce production time. For an individual project, I designed an automated Houdini-to-Blender pipeline using VEX, transforming user-generated curves into procedural character animation and removing manual keyframing.
